We are proud to breed F1 Standard Goldendoodle and our parents are all wonderful representations of their breed. They have had their health testing done and are exceptionally nice dogs with wonderful temperaments. Our goal is to raise healthy well socialized Goldendoodle puppies that will be a member of your family, loved and well cared for throughout their lives. Our puppies are raised in our home with us and are a part of our family until they join their new families.

Best of Both Worlds

After a lot of research and careful consideration we made the decision to breed Goldendoodles. I bred American Golden Retrievers for many years and love their wonderful temperaments, loyalty and their strong desire to please. We feel that the Golden Retriever is one of the best all around breeds there is. One of the main issues that we were concerned with is the cancer rate, almost 72%, in American Golden Retrievers. Upon further research I found that the English Golden Retriever's cancer rate is roughly 39%. That is a dramatic difference for such a devastating disease. Our number one goal is to do our best to raise healthy puppies. Which led to our choosing the English Golden Retriever to use in our breeding program.

Hybrid Vigor

One of the reasons we decided to breed Goldendoodles is that they bring out the best of two wonderful breeds of dogs. The Standard Poodle and the Golden Retriever are both listed in the top 5 smartest breeds of dogs. One of the Poodle's claims to fame is that they don't shed! This is a wonderful trait that carries through in the Goldendoodle. Now This doesn't mean that the Goldendoodle is completely shed free, but they are significantly lower than most breeds. The first generation cross or F1 puppies have "Hybrid Vigor" this mean they're generally healthier than either purebred line. The cross between these two wonderful breeds are terrific family dogs, friendly, intelligent, affectionate and easy to train. The Hybrid Vigor decreases the further you get away from the first generation cross or F1 puppy. Our top priority is to raise healthy, happy puppies so we have made the decision to raise F1 puppies.
